Convergence: EQUIP 2018

Building a Prophetic Ministry in the Local Church

Our first Convergence conference is now several months behind us, but we continue to hear on a daily basis of the numerous ways that men and women were blessed and encouraged in their passionate pursuit of Word and Spirit.

Convergence as a national conference will be held in Oklahoma City, God willing, every other year. So, make plans now to join us in the Fall of 2019 for our second conference. But the overwhelming response we’ve received in the form of requests for more hands-on, practical training in the gifts of the Holy Spirit has led to the launch of a workshop event in the intervening years.

Our first Convergence: EQUIP will be hosted by Bridgeway Church, July 26-28, 2018, here in Oklahoma City. Unlike the larger Convergence national conference, this event will take place in the facilities of Bridgeway Church and will be limited to the first 450 registrants.

The focus of our first EQUIP workshop will be: Building a Prophetic Ministry in the Local Church. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, and will conclude at noon on Saturday, July 28.

Main sessions and breakout sessions will be led by Sam Storms, together with members of Bridgeway’s pastoral staff and prophetic team. Among the topics we hope to cover are:

  • Hearing the Voice of God
  • Basic Training in the Nature and Practice of Prophetic Ministry
  • Building an Intercessory Prayer Ministry in your Local Church
  • Dream Interpretation
  • Equipping and Encouraging your Children in Prophetic Ministry
  • Prophetic Evangelism
  • Prophetic Worship
  • “Drawn Away”: Developing a Spirit-Empowered Retreat for Women
  • Equipping People for Prophetic Ministry in Corporate Gatherings and in Small Groups
Registration is now open. We hope to see you in July!
