What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Haiti? … Earthquake? … Extreme poverty? … Hunger? What about … the church? According to Operation World, the evangelical church has been growing in Haiti. However, training opportunities for pastors are almost non-existent.
Next week, Reaching & Teaching International Ministries will be launching a new training site in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This site has been adopted by a church in Plainview, Minnesota. As a representative of Reaching & Teaching, I will be joining the team (Pastor Nick Wilson and Terry Spenst) on this first trip.
As always, I ask you to pray for safe travel. My flight schedule to Haiti this Sunday is:
BWI to Miami – 7:20 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.
The Spiritual Discipline, Bible Intake, will be taught each day by Terry Spenst. Nick Wilson and I will be teaching Old Testament Survey:
I will be flying home on Saturday, February 13. My flight schedule is:
Port-au-Prince to Miami – 2:30 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
Thank you for your prayer, both for the ministry and for me personally.
Together in His service,
These trips are not possible without the financial support of our partners. Would you prayerfully consider becoming at partner?
