The primary intent of CMC/Christ My Covenant is to serve the growing interest in the Biblical Covenants and sanctification within the New Covenant. But that’s not all there is to CMC. You’ll find articles, reviews, teaching and sermon outlines along with commentary, opinion and a little media promo. All that we publish is intended to feed your soul and encourage you to think biblical. It is not our intention to focus on “hot button” topics that are designed to grow a website and personal fame. We prefer a slow growth model of web ministry that will serve the student of God’s Word through an emphasis on study and sermon outlines that focus on God’s Word. Though there is much published today under the banner of “Christian,” yet, thinking biblically, remains a rare commodity and practice.
Our sole desire is to learn of Christ.
But we do not trust through Moses or through the law; for then we would do the same as yourselves. But now (for I have read that there shall be a final law, and a covenant, the chiefest of all, which it is now incumbent on all men to observe, as many as are seeking after the inheritance of God. For the law promulgated on Horeb is now old, and belongs to yourselves alone; but this is for all universally). Now, law placed against law has abrogated that which is before it, and a covenant which comes after in like manner has put an end to the previous one; and an eternal and final law—namely, Christ—has been given to us, and the covenant is trustworthy, after which there shall be no law, no commandment, no ordinance. — Justin Martyr [source]

Intro to the video below from John Piper….
It may surprise you the way the Desiring God website began. That’s what this video is about: how one ordinary man got an extraordinary vision from God. I hope the story of Moe Bergeron inspires you.
For decades, Moe was a factory worker and bi-vocational pastor on the rugged spiritual soil of New England. He was one of the first to believe in the power and potential of computers “talking” to each other, and he may have been the first that dared to dream about a radical new way to freely spread the gospel.
Disclaimer: Moe has no known relationship to the celebrity Tom Bergeron. Tom hails from Haverhill MA while our Moe comes from up river by 10 or so miles. There is also no known relationship to the great Boston Bruins hockey player, Patrice Bergeron. As far as we know Tom and Patrice do not play in the arena Moe plays or dances with the stars Moe knows as his heavenly family. We pray they will one day.
Moe personally pursues a theology of the New Covenant with a view of one people of God (Ephesians 2). He believes entrance into the New Covenant is only through a God given New Birth (John 3), Faith (Ephesians 2:8,9; 6:23) and Repentance (2 Tim 2:25; Acts 11:18). He believes Jesus Christ is God’s promised covenant (Isaiah 42:6; 49:8) and the Holy Spirit is its administrator and interiorized imperative (2 Cor 3). Moe firmly believes all of God’s saints in this age pursue holiness with a desire to please God in all things. They are under the authority of grace and are not under the authority of law (Romans 6:14). Not even a little smidgen of law (Galatians 3:10). They are married to Christ and are not spiritual adulterers who would own both law and grace as their master (Romans 7:4; Matthew 6:24).
May our shared labors in the Gospel of Jesus Christ serve to further your understanding of Jesus Christ.
